Cookie Policy
Transparency about the cookies we use and how you can control them
Last updated: March 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to "remember" you or your preferences between visits. They can be temporary (expiring when you close the browser) or persistent (stored for a defined period).
2. How We Use Cookies
Portugal Travel Hub uses a minimal set of cookies, all essential to the correct operation of the platform or to the direct improvement of your experience. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies or conversion pixels without your consent.
We do not share cookie data with advertising networks. The cookies we use serve exclusively for authentication, user preferences and session security.
3. Cookies We Use

sb-refresh-token |
Strictly necessary | 7 days | Automatic renewal of the authentication session without requiring a new sign-in |
pth_region_pref |
Functional | 30 days | Saves the last selected beach region to restore your preference on your next visit |
pth_filters |

cf_clearance |
Security | 30 days | Generated by Cloudflare to validate that the visitor is not a malicious bot |
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you click on links to external partners (e.g. Booking.com, GetYourGuide), those sites may set their own cookies for affiliate tracking purposes. These cookies are outside our control and are governed by the respective partners' privacy policies.
Portugal Travel Hub does not integrate advertising networks, social media pixels or third-party behavioural analytics tools.
5. localStorage
For functionality that does not require a server — such as the internal lead CRM and filter preferences — we use the browser's localStorage. This technology is not a cookie: the data stays only on your device and is never sent to the server. You can clear localStorage at any time in your browser settings or in the platform's internal panel.
6. How to Manage Your Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies (such as session cookies) may prevent your user account from functioning correctly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if we introduce new cookies or similar technologies. Any changes will be reflected on this page with the updated date. For significant changes, we will notify you via a notice on the website or by email.
8. More Information
