About the school

Atlantic Surf School has been operating at Nazaré Beach since 2014, training surfers of all levels on Portugal's most iconic coastline. With instructors certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and small class sizes (max. 6 students per instructor), we guarantee safe, personalised learning in a great atmosphere. All quality equipment is included — boards, wetsuits and access to the warm-up area. Open year-round, with high season from June to October.

Surf Lesson — Beginner

2h lesson with FPS-certified instructor. Equipment included. For those starting from scratch.

Technique, wave reading and positioning. Homogeneous level groups. 2h.

10h of lessons spread over 5 days. Ideal for fast progression during holidays.

Bodyboard

We also offer bodyboard lessons and rental for the whole family. Our instructors ensure safety and fun even in Nazaré's bigger waves. Ideal for children from age 8 and for those who prefer a gradual introduction to surf.
